The Simons Law Firm, PLLC was established by Founder and Managing Partner, Blake Simons in 2023. Blake’s goal was to create a firm that was accessible to his community while providing exceptional service to his clients. He aims to avoid the corporate feeling of larger firms and provide an approachable environment where his clients can talk about their issues and challenges.

Experience
Blake Simons is a former trial prosecutor from the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida and his prosecutorial successes resulted in a promotion to the felony level of representation within the first 12 months of employment. His experience demonstrates a deep understanding of what clients need when it comes to legal representation. As a successful trial attorney in both criminal and civil matters, Blake knows how to defend your case and is unafraid to fight for your rights with courage, integrity, and versatile strategies.
Blake is a graduate of South Texas College of Law and had the opportunity to work as a judicial intern under the Honorable Judge John Ellisor in Galveston, Texas prior to graduation. He is also a Certified Mediator under the State of Texas and has successfully mediated dozens of cases.
Since founding The Simons Law Firm, Blake has stayed true to his criminal defense roots but has branched into other areas of law to meet the needs of his clients. Blake has successfully handled cases involving landlord tenant disputes, non-compete/non-disclosure agreements, family law, estate planning, entertainment law, and business law.
Personal Approach
Blake values and prioritizes communication with his clients. Nothing is worse than facing criminal charges or being involved in a civil dispute and not knowing what is happening with your case. You are already under enough stress. Blake’s promise to every client is regular case updates and working together to develop a strategic approach so your charges or matter is resolved with the best possible outcome.
Giving Back to the Community
Blake is involved in multiple non-profits across Central Florida and giving back to the community is very important to him. He is on the Board of Directors with Encore Cast Performing Arts and regularly performs in productions put on by the organization. Most recently he was seen and heard in the 240-person choir of The Hunchback of Notre Dame performed at the Steinmetz Hall at The Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts. The combined hours of all volunteers for the production, as calculated through Department of Labor Statistics was over $500,000 given to the community during the course of this production. Additionally, Blake volunteers with Mythic Adventures, can be found volunteering for Give Kids the World, and with the Pride Chamber of Commerce.
