Medical Directives (Living Will)

A Medical Directive, also commonly known as a Living Will, is a document that explains the wishes of the principal regarding their medical care. It is often a detailed document that instructs any Power of Attorneys or medical care providers in what they may or may not do regarding the principal’s care. These directives can be updated as needed. The Medical Directive also guides any Medical Durable Power of Attorney by instructing them regarding certain decisions.
