“I understand the importance of staying in touch with clients. Whether you are facing criminal charges or have a civil matter, limited communication with your attorney can be frustrating and stressful. As your attorney, I make it a point to provide regular updates about the status of your case. I work closely with all my clients to develop and execute the best strategy so we can resolve your matter quickly and efficiently. I genuinely believe the justice system can work for everyone with the right legal representation.” —Blake Simons, Esq.

Criminal Defense:
The day you need a criminal defense attorney is likely to be the most frightening day of your life and you will want experienced representation.
Whether you need a criminal defense attorney for yourself or for a loved one, having experienced representation is critical to ensure your rights are protected. The first few hours of a new case is critical and an experienced attorney will tell you not to speak with anyone until your legal counsel is with you.
Arrest and incarceration can be frightening. Very often people say things which are misunderstood by the authorities or feel pressured into making statements which are not necessarily accurate representations of what happened. Having the right attorney by your side from the very beginning can help you avoid unnecessary problems and pave the way for a more positive outcome. This is a stressful time, and you don’t want to make any mistakes which could negatively impact the situation.
The Simons Law Firm has the experience and understanding of the criminal justice system to ensure your rights are protected. Under the law, we are all innocent until proven guilty. Our motto is Justice for All, which means everyone deserves their day in court. As a former criminal prosecutor, the firm ensures your voice is heard and your constitutional rights are protected.
At The Simons Law Firm we offer a variety of payment plans and can work with you, regardless of income level. Our goal is to provide you with exceptional legal representation and work with you for the best possible outcome. Getting justice for you and your loved one is our top priority.
We assist with:
- Removing or Eliminating Jail / Probation Time
- Reducing Fines
- Protecting your Constitutional Rights
- Gathering compelling evidence to help your case
- Fiercely advocating for you in the justice system
- Having a charge dismissed or dropped
- Expunging / Sealing Criminal Records
Civil Law:
Experience and personal relationships with our clients is what sets the Simons Law Firm apart. In addition to Criminal Defense, we have extensive experience in Civil Law. Whether it be contracts, Wills, Trusts, or even timeshare disputes, The Simons Law Firm can help you understand your options under the law.
Estate Planning
An estate plan is an essential part of managing your finances because it protects your loved ones and assets, ensures your children aged 18 and under are taken care of by a person(s) of your choosing, and much more. An estate plan creates a roadmap of what your wishes are so your beneficiaries receive what you leave for them and avoids costly legal battles between family members. With an estate plan, you can be certain an individual of your choosing will be granted a power of attorney, which is there to help manage your estate should you become incapacitated and designate your end of life wishes with medical directives (aka “living will”). An estate plan helps avoid unnecessary fights when emotions are running high from grief.
All Estate Packages Include

Landlord / Tenant Disputes
The Simons Law Firm can help you understand your rights as a landlord or tenant because lease agreements can be confusing. Both parties have rights and responsibilities. In many cases, understanding your role in the rental process can help avoid issues and even improve difficult situations. Our team can assist with negotiating leases, claiming a security deposit as a landlord or tenant at the conclusion of a lease, assessing legal options for damaged property, and advise rights regarding residential and commercial tenancies.
Business and Entertainment Law
Founding Partner Blake Simons has been in the entertainment industry for decades and worked for multiple Fortune 500 Companies. With Central Florida being well known as a major entertainment hub, questions regularly arise involving artists, performers, and their rights. Blake’s firsthand experience gives him a vantage point unfamiliar to most attorneys, enabling The Simons Law Firm to provide exceptional guidance when it comes to business and entertainment law.
We can offer business start-up assistance, drafting contract and service agreements, liability waivers, performance contracts, and more. Whether you are a new business navigating the legal needs of your company, an artist or producer needing assistance with artists’ rights, performance rights, protecting your intellectual property, or licensing agreements, The Simons Law Firm is here for you.
Timeshare Contract Cancellation
It’s a common tale in Central Florida. Slick salespeople targeting people who don’t entirely understand what they’re buying or worse yet, can’t afford what they are being sold. Have you fallen victim to high-pressure or unethical sales of a timeshare? There may be legal options for you to get your timeshare cancelled. Many of these time share companies engage in questionable sales tactics which can be financially devastating to the purchaser. At The Simons Law Firm, we have developed strategies to help terminate timeshare contracts and may be able provide legal cause to end your financial commitment. Contact us for a free consultation to assess your individual situation and see what your options are.
